Port Stephens offers a range of local workshops, creative experiences, and small group activities over Easter. From pottery and wellness sessions to family-friendly options, there are plenty of affordable and meaningful ways to spend your time.his is an answer
This is a small pilot project designed to support local women in sharing their skills, ideas, and offerings with the community. We’re bringing together a curated “what’s on” of workshops and experiences across Port Stephens, making it easier for visitors and locals to discover something meaningful to do over Easter.
We’re featuring a range of local, small-group experiences including things like macramé, dance, holistic food sessions for women, nervous system reset workshops, family photography, paint and sip, pottery classes, games days, Pickleball, and Human Design sessions — with more being added as women step forward to share what they do.
There’s something for everyone — individuals, couples, families, and groups of friends. Some offerings are tailored specifically for women, while others are open to all. Each experience will clearly outline who it’s best suited for.
Most experiences will require booking, as they are small and intentionally kept intimate. Some may allow walk-ins depending on availability. Details will be listed with each offering, or you can contact the provider directly.
Many of the experiences are designed to be enjoyable regardless of the weather, including indoor workshops and creative sessions. For outdoor activities, the provider will advise any changes or alternatives.
All experiences are run by locals — small business owners, creatives, practitioners and sports clubs — who are ready to share what they do. Providers are required to hold public liability insurance and take responsibility for delivering their offering safely and professionally.
Each experience will include details on how to book directly with the provider. You can browse the current offerings or reach out to us if you’re unsure where to start — we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
Yes please! — we’d love to hear from you. This initiative is about helping women “put it out there,” even if you’re still in the early stages. If you have an idea, a space, and are ready (or close) to sharing something, send us a message and we can guide you through the next steps.
